Jacob has now passed the 10 month mark and he's doing great. For the last month he said Dada quite a bit. I started feeling left out and so this week he started saying mama more. He said both words a few months ago, but he started using them much more frequently the past couple weeks. I love it!
He's also been doing a good job at transitioning to table foods. We've been giving him small pieces of cracker covered tofu, soft banana bites, and toast. He enjoys trying to pick things up although admittedly he still misses his mouth at times!
His best trick seems to be screaming. Not really in anger but more to hear his own voice (I think!). Anyway, we're trying not to encourage that although it can be entertaining at times.

Denver Trip - Summer 2010
Here's a few pictures from Jacob's first plane trip out to Denver to visit Grandma Sue.
He had a ball meeting his friends Stefan and Claire. Next time he sees them he plans to be up and running around!
Other highlights included dressing up in his Moroccan outfit for a night in a real Moroccan restaurant. This was a real highlight because he saw a real belly dancer! He loved to flirt with her. He also liked the fact that we ate on the floor. He thinks everyone should do that.
He also got to visit the Denver Zoo and the Children's museum. He didn't quite measure up to the big polar bear he saw. Maybe next visit!
He also wanted me to post pictures of the cool bubble experiment that his sister got to do.
